In other news, college is hard. I've had 1 sleepless night, 2 3 hour of sleep nights, and 1 that was over 6 hours. Who knew that Caribbean literature was such a time filler????? Braithwaite, did, that's fo sho. Not more than Cesaire though. That jerk.

There was some greek party going on tonight in which all the girls...well most of the girls on my hall...were getting dressed up to go to. To quote Miss Lohan, "it's the one night a year a girl can get away with wearing underwear and animal ears in public and not be caleld a slut." I'm pretty sure I butchered that quote. But yeah that. And I walked down my hall wearing a towel (I was just post shower) and they complimented my great idea.


I've got one in beige, too.


I'm reading this book for j201 called "Virgin or Vamp" and it's, mas o menos, a book about historical rapes and how the media has dealt with them. As one governor in Texas so aptly states: "If it's unavoidable, the girl may as well lie back and enjoy it."


My idea: stab him with a kitchen knife and ask him to smile.


It's a good book. Graphic, but nice.

I'm coming home next weekend to see the Pentacle show. I don't even remember the title of it, but I'll be there.


A bird flew in my room today! I vaulted to the other side of my desk and thought about just letting it free to roam burgess hall. Smart bird...it flew back out. Also...I had a faceoff with a 12 ft tall zombie.

Oh Eugene. Silly.
